Sonichka is an American-Ukrainian singer, songwriter, and pianist based in St. Louis, Missouri. Her sound is the confluence of her classical piano training, the Ukrainian folk music that played in her home, and her adoration of her hometown's punk scene.
Sonichka will release an indie-rock album titled The Orange this fall. Riddled with accordion and fiddle, the eclectic record offers a glimpse into Sonichka's heart, which is "bruised, but bright." Her songs explore stories about girlhood, growing up, love, loss, friendship, and heritage.
Sonichka believes in love and will show you that you believe in it too.
